Privacy Notice
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This notice explains what personal information Soberful LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to veronicavalli.com, soberful.com, and to any form you complete on Facebook or Instagram in response to one of our advertisements.
1. Who we are
Soberful LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States, is the data controller for the information described in this notice.
Postal address: PO Box 6581, County Road 32 #413, Point Clear, AL 36564, United States
Email: info@soberful.com
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
● Your name and email address, when you subscribe to our email list, download a guide, register for an event, or complete a form on Facebook or Instagram.
● Billing information, when you purchase a product or programme. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
● Anything you choose to tell us in a form field, reply, survey response, or message.
Information collected automatically
● Standard technical information when you visit our websites: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring source.
● Information from cookies and similar technologies, described in section 8.
3. Information that may reveal something sensitive
We work in the field of alcohol-free living and emotional wellbeing. Because of that, the simple fact that you have subscribed to our list, downloaded a resource, or attended an event may suggest something about your interests or circumstances. In the United Kingdom and the European Union, information of this kind can amount to health data, which receives additional protection under law.
We treat this seriously. Specifically:
● We do not ask you to disclose a diagnosis, a treatment history, or any clinical information, and we ask that you do not send us such information.
● We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
● We do not share your email address or other identifying information with advertising platforms for the purpose of targeting advertisements to you.
● Where the law requires your explicit consent before we handle information of this kind, we ask for it clearly and separately, and you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Why we use your information, and our legal basis
We use personal information for the following purposes. Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis for each is given in brackets.
● To send you the resource, guide, or event access you requested. (Performance of a contract, or consent.)
● To send you emails about our free content, live events, and paid programmes. (Consent, which you may withdraw at any time.)
● To deliver and support any product or programme you have purchased. (Performance of a contract.)
● To understand how our websites and emails are used, so that we can improve them. (Legitimate interests in running and improving our business.)
● To measure whether our advertising is working. (Consent, where cookies or similar technologies are involved; otherwise legitimate interests.)
● To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. (Legal obligation.)
5. Forms completed on Facebook and Instagram
Some of our advertisements use Meta's instant forms, which open and are completed inside Facebook or Instagram rather than on our website. If you complete one of these forms:
● Meta may pre-fill your name and email address from your Facebook or Instagram account. You can edit these before submitting, and nothing is sent to us until you press submit.
● We receive the information you submit and add it to our email list, so that we can send you the resource you asked for and further emails from us.
● Meta's own handling of your information is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, which is available in the Meta Privacy Center. We do not control it, and this notice does not cover it.
● Submitting one of these forms means you are subscribing to our email list. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
6. Who we share your information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business. Each is bound to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we specify. Our main providers are:
● Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email marketing platform. Stores your name, email address, and engagement history.
● Stripe — payment processing.
● PayPal — payment processing.
● ClickFunnels — hosting of landing pages and checkout pages.
● Zoom — delivery of live online events.
● Meta Platforms — where you have interacted with our advertising, as described in sections 5 and 8.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under United States state privacy laws.
7. International transfers
We accept subscribers from countries across the world, and several of our service providers are based in the United States. Where information is transferred out of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request further detail using the contact details in section 12.
8. Cookies and advertising technologies
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta pixel, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on our website. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and you can adjust how Meta uses information about you through the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.
Meta applies additional restrictions to the data our websites are permitted to share with it, reflecting the nature of the subject matter we work in. This limits the information transmitted from our sites to Meta.
9. How long we keep your information
We keep your information on our email list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Where you have not opened or engaged with our emails for nine months, we remove you from the list.
Records relating to purchases are kept for seven years in order to meet tax and accounting requirements. This applies whether or not you remain on our email list.
10. Your rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, using the link at the foot of every email. Beyond that, you have rights over your personal information, and which rights apply depends on where you live.
United Kingdom and European Union
You have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
United States
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion or correction, to receive a copy, and to opt out of sale or of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to complain to your national privacy regulator. We honour access, correction, and deletion requests from subscribers in any country.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@soberful.com. We respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer.
11. Children
Our websites, programmes, and emails are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
